ABOUT ME
📍 Berlin, Germany
💻 UX research and strategy
❤️ I’m passionate about connection, equity, and tech-optimism.
💡 I’m interested in Gen-Z culture and consumer trends.
Hello! I’m Julia, a user researcher and strategist in Berlin. In fifth grade I built a social networking site for my classmates, and I’ve been leaving my mark on the World Wide Web ever since. I love connecting people and creatively solving their trickiest digital challenges.
I have worked on an independent and freelance basis within UX research and strategy, design, web development, and thought partnership since 2018. Collaborating with startups and small businesses, and household names like Starbucks, Airstream, and Google, I’ve delivered a range of research projects across product development, marketing, social media, and corporate strategy.
🌈 I'm currently building my practice in Berlin! Let's get in touch.
I'm also working to empower global community builders atTogether by Design.
✨✨✨
I previously worked at Google as a UX researcher in New York. During my tenure, I led end-to-end, user-facing research withinYouTube Shopping.
✨ Knowledge is power, and I socialize my research to influence business decisions and maximize impact across product areas.
My work on social commerce, at the intersection of short-form video and e-commerce, was among the first to be published at Google. This led to opportunities to work across the company on Google Ads, YouTube Ads, YouTube Shorts, and Gen Z-centered Generative AI initiatives in Google Labs.
After leaving Google, I decided to move to Berlin, bringing my strategic research skills to early stage startups and founders.
I ❤️ Berlin's tech and startup scene and am excited to be involved in the great work happening here. 👩🏻💻 If you're interested in learning more or collaborating, let's connect!
When offline, I’m probably exploring a new neighborhood, making cold brew, or writing at the park. If I’m not in Berlin, I’m probably in New York, or (hopefully) in Paris. 🥖
